Home recording and general music post from the archived Yabb Recording Website Message Board. Some of the info here may be outdated but many of the audio recording and home studio tips are still good. Note: The only tags I made and attempt to convert are italics, bold, center and underline. So if you see some gibberish surrounded by brackets, just ignore it.

Subject: n-track : pan draw
by harvey | 03/04/01 at 08:18:12
can someone explaine how the "pan draw" function works. I tried moving the "nodes" (on a mono track) exteme up and then sloping the pan extreme right and I get nothing. I would expect a gradual pan from one side to the other, right? Also, the "Ctrl" key will not allow escape from the pan draw mode. Version 2.2 would allow this, but, 2.2.1 doesn't seem to like this command. The help files don't seem to be to much of a help. thx harvey

It's been a long time since I've used N'track but I seem to remember them working for me. How do you have the normal pan pots set? They must be centered for the pan nodes to work. If that doesn't work, try converting the files to stereo before opening them in N.
