Home recording and general music post from the archived Yabb Recording Website Message Board. Some of the info here may be outdated but many of the audio recording and home studio tips are still good. Note: The only tags I made and attempt to convert are italics, bold, center and underline. So if you see some gibberish surrounded by brackets, just ignore it.

Sure.
Get yourself the new Mackie Digironing Board, and then plug it in. When you start to see steam coming out of the aux outputs, take the DAT, and apply the iron controller to it. Set the dial to De-Esser/De-Magnetize, and Bob's yer uncle.
No more static.
Watch the soldering next time, you could take out the eye of a co-worker. :P

Only if you go for the optional modulator/demodulator, and install the lowass filter. 8)

:P Here ya go again, starting a flame over mod vs. demod, there will be 1000 posts asking which bolt. I may as well go back to solder spatter art. Got one sorta looks like Fred Flintstone, it gets shown a lot, cause it's on toe of my shoe.

P.S Old Dan, should put an end to this before it gets too bloody. We should pretend it never happened. Make it go away.
