Welcome to the Recording Forums archive of audio recording posts from the old Recording Website Message Board

Home recording and general music post from the archived Yabb Recording Website Message Board. Some of the info here may be outdated but many of the audio recording and home studio tips are still good. Note: The only tags I made and attempt to convert are italics, bold, center and underline. So if you see some gibberish surrounded by brackets, just ignore it.

Subject: New info on Sub-T 8

Entry fee will be $10.  No dead line yet.
The only restrictions are this:
1.  Song must be 6:00 or less.  If it's a little over that's OK but otherwise it will be edited.
2.  If there are too many entrys, songs will be edited to allow more space.
3.  Multiple songs from identical groups will not be allowed if there are too many entrys.  (ie, if one member collaborates with another on 1 song, and that member collabs with another on a different song, then it's OK, but say if the IL Boys do 2 songs together and there's not enough room on the CD, one will be dropped.
There is no official word on who's mastering it yet but it will probably be me.

Is this going to be a single cd or if you have enough entries will you make it a double (like the sound of that :) )

if there's an abundance of submissions, I'll make it a double but I'm going to try keeping it single.
