Home recording and general music post from the archived Yabb Recording Website Message Board. Some of the info here may be outdated but many of the audio recording and home studio tips are still good. Note: The only tags I made and attempt to convert are italics, bold, center and underline. So if you see some gibberish surrounded by brackets, just ignore it.

Not Good-Bye
© 2001 Cindy Miller
He came and left like an early March heat wave
The welcome thaw after months of cold
Fulfilling her need
To nurture the seed
And awaken her once silent soul
There was a life just waiting to happen
But she’d been still for so long
She had it inside her
But the muse denied her
Until he forced from her a song
Chorus
How will she say good-bye to the season
The gentle wind that helped her fly
Her heart will never leave him so she'll say
“Till we meet again, not Good-bye”…..
Caught up in the brilliant aura
No one had witnessed before
A sight to behold
The rust turning gold
And he instantly longed for more
He opened the door to a whole new world
Invited her heart out to play
She’d been scared
But now she dared
To follow the dreams that she’d made
Chorus
When the ides of March came to them
She knew he’d be on his way
She misses him, and yet
There is no regret
She knew from the start he couldn’t stay
Why he left isn't really important
Beyond a doubt he was Heaven sent
He touched her heart
He left his mark
And that gift leaves her content
Chorus
He was there long enough to change her
And the love that he gave sustains her
She thinks of him though they’re apart
When she feels life’s betrayed her
She thinks of all he gave her
And his memory strengthens her heart
Chorus
No her heart will never leave him so she'll say
“Till we meet again, not Good-bye”
