Home recording and general music post from the archived Yabb Recording Website Message Board. Some of the info here may be outdated but many of the audio recording and home studio tips are still good. Note: The only tags I made and attempt to convert are italics, bold, center and underline. So if you see some gibberish surrounded by brackets, just ignore it.

WOW!
Great recording. There were several underground bands in the 80s that did this style of music but it never hit mainstream but was definitely rememberable none-the-less. I really liked the production and the very well defined layers. What kind of equipment did you use for this recording?

Hey Darren I just saw a review of your song "Beaches" in the Readers' Tapes colum in Recording Magazine Jan 01 issue. It sounds like Marty Peters is a fan. It is not often he does a critique and doesn't have anything advice to give. After giving your productions a listen I know why. Good job!

and bass a friend of mine made. a Mackie 1202, and

Hey Darren, I was expecting some heavy guitar driven stuff. Pleased to say I was disapointed. IMNSHO you've really matured as a musician. That's some very nice stuff, good songs played well.
I'm looking forward to hearing how far you go. Please remember us little people when you become famous ;D
