Some of the info here may be outdated but many of the audio recording and home studio tips are still good. Note: The only tags I made and attempt to convert are italics, bold, center and underline. I just bought a personus blue tube. I read that there might be a problem with the phantom power. Has anyone had any problems with it?
Thanks

Judging by the lack of response I would have to say no. Have you had any probs? If not, enjoy :)
Take care,
Dan

I only know of one case where a guy at the Audio Forums posted that he could not power his Neumann mic with the Blue Tube. So he tested it and found that it wasn't putting out close to the required 48 volt power supply. Now this may only be a problem with certain mics, and only with this one unit, but if it is working for you, then don't worry about it. I was interested in the same unit and wrote to Presonus directly quoting this fellows posting and problem. Their response was VERY vague and didn't address the power issue at all. Almost like they knew of this problem. All they really said was that they provide full support and service, so if I bought the unit and it didn't work properly, they would resolve it. I do know that they hadn't (at that time) resolved it for the fellow with the problem. Since I may own a Neumann mic someday, I chose to avoid it since there are so many other mic pre options that will do an equal job. The Blue Tube is a great price though. So question, is yours working okay? What mics are you powering with it?
Cheers
