Welcome to the Recording Forums archive of audio recording posts from the old Recording Website Message Board

Home recording and general music post from the archived Yabb Recording Website Message Board. Some of the info here may be outdated but many of the audio recording and home studio tips are still good. Note: The only tags I made and attempt to convert are italics, bold, center and underline. So if you see some gibberish surrounded by brackets, just ignore it.

I need opinions about the Behringer Euro Rack stuff. Does anyone own one? Are they as neat as they seem? Thanks!:-/

I dont have Euro rack Mixer but Eurodesk MX8000 it works fine...some guys will tell you that it's crap..but for the money it's the best thing you could choose

I've been using a Eurorack MX 1602A (no longer in production) for almost 3 years now and it's done great.   Berringer seems to be somewhat of a knock-off clone of Mackie offering very similar but less expensive equipment.  (In fact, they've been sued by Mackie- okay, not my problem) People will argue (blah, blah, blah) about the Mackie pre-amps being far superior but I bet most people couldn't pass a blindfolded A/B comparison test.  IMHO best bang for your buck!

Hey there!
I have the 1604 and it is just fine!  For the money and the 4 XLR inputs with phantom power right on the front, I don't really need much else.  A sweepable parametric mid and inserts would be nice, but that is what I use Logic for any way:-*

behringer mixers are the hands down winner in their price range.
