Welcome to the Recording Forums archive of audio recording posts from the old Recording Website Message Board

Home recording and general music post from the archived Yabb Recording Website Message Board. Some of the info here may be outdated but many of the audio recording and home studio tips are still good. Note: The only tags I made and attempt to convert are italics, bold, center and underline. So if you see some gibberish surrounded by brackets, just ignore it.

Subject: Problem with Korg D8 plz help
by Kev   |   04/10/01 at 20:29:48

I just got a Korg D8 recorder.  I was trying to get to know how to use it when i encountered a problem.  I layed down one track on track one, then i tried laying a separate track down on track 2 but when i played it all back, what i put on track 2 over wrote track 1.  its like track 1 just dissappeared or something.  I know that can't be true so i am just asking if anyone can tell me in detail how to record mulitple tracks so u are able to go back later and adjust the levels of each indivisual track.  thank you
