Welcome to the Recording Forums archive of audio recording posts from the old Recording Website Message Board

Home recording and general music post from the archived Yabb Recording Website Message Board. Some of the info here may be outdated but many of the audio recording and home studio tips are still good. Note: The only tags I made and attempt to convert are italics, bold, center and underline. So if you see some gibberish surrounded by brackets, just ignore it.

Subject: Do I need to be a member to post?

q. Do I need to be registered to post?
a. No. Anyone may post. This is a free and open forum. I have no desire to restrict access to anyone.

q. So why should I register?
There are several advantages to becoming a member.
1. You will never have to type your name and email again. :P
2. When you logon on you will be able to tell at a glance which topics have new posts by the open folder at the left. And when you are in a forum every new post will have a new graphic on it.
3. As a member you can send messages to other members. Just click on the message icon below their post or in their members profile.

I will be adding more as I discover them myself :)

q. So how do I register?
a. Just look at the gray table at the top of every page. There will be a register icon. Click it, then fill out your name, email and a password of your choosing. A screen should then come up asking you to login. After you have logged in you can click on the profile icon and set things like your webpage, your personal picture and other info you want to share.
