Welcome to the Recording Forums archive of audio recording posts from the old Recording Website Message Board

Home recording and general music post from the archived Yabb Recording Website Message Board. Some of the info here may be outdated but many of the audio recording and home studio tips are still good. Note: The only tags I made and attempt to convert are italics, bold, center and underline. So if you see some gibberish surrounded by brackets, just ignore it.

???
i have an sblive and for some reason, in windows mixer, under recording i can only select one source at a time. if i select say mic in, the tick on say line in dissapears. i used an alternative for the windows mixer and the same things happens. the tech support guys at creative were no help, i reinstalled windows like they advised to no avail, the new drivers and liveware did nothing. i know for a fact that i should be able to simply tick 2 or more devices, and i'm really frustrated now, as my recording process has been limited and delayed long enough. if u have any idea at all, please e-mail me, i'd appreciate it so much

Enable a mark under "What-U-Hear" under Recording Properties. It will do the trick. If you don't see it then click on "Options" tab and check box beside "What-U-Hear". You should be able to see it now.
