Home recording and general music post from the archived Yabb Recording Website Message Board. Some of the info here may be outdated but many of the audio recording and home studio tips are still good. Note: The only tags I made and attempt to convert are italics, bold, center and underline. So if you see some gibberish surrounded by brackets, just ignore it.

Hard Drive Gonna Fail
What have you heard, my napster son
what have you downloaded, my freeloadin' one
I tried downloadin' U2 but I got Sinatra
tried for Alice In Chains, but a voice said, HA,GOTCHA!
heard a thousand yugos whose horns were all blarin'
I heard animals matin' and candidates swearin'
I heard groanin' left fielders whose balls were all broken
heard a thousand farmers whose chickens were chokin'
It's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard
It's a harrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrd
driiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive
gonna fay ay ayle

Oh yes, please finish it. I really like it.
You know, that subt humor cd is not a bad idea. When Jon finishs 'Hard Drive gonna fail', we already have Tedster's 12 days of Christmas and I would humbly submit 'We'll Meet Again'. Course we have to get VII out first.....
Take care,
Dan

(gulp) It isn't finished? Just print it on the liner notes as it is, if you want to use it. When you read it, of course you play the music of Bob Dylan's "Hard Rain Gonna Fall" in your head. If you use the music w/o permission(Dylan doesn't even return my calls, the snob!) that would be plagiarism.(Twelve days of x-mas is public domain). Using plagiarism to condemn copyright infringement is not the type of irony I usually like to go for.
