Home recording and general music post from the archived Yabb Recording Website Message Board. Some of the info here may be outdated but many of the audio recording and home studio tips are still good. Note: The only tags I made and attempt to convert are italics, bold, center and underline. So if you see some gibberish surrounded by brackets, just ignore it.

I was just looking at the N'track forum. WOW that program's changed since I last used it! I saw you had a couple of posts on their board. So how do you like the new N'track?

:'( Sorry, there are several db, DB's etc. in the audio forums, however the N-tracks does look very interesting. I visited your website, looking for the photo of sound material. For some reason, I couldn't find that photo, any suggestions? Are you the "Silent" on proRec Website?
Hee-Hee.

I downloaded the new demo. I have to say I really like what they've done with it. I'm considering getting the full version ($50 supports 24 bit I/O & 32 bit processing). There's a link on the website that says "N'track" on it that has a couple of screen shots.

:o Did you see Frodo's post about the tascam usb interface? Stuff is changing too fast now.
I was going to ask you about what ideal computer requirements would be, now I don't know what to ask.

don't know much about USB other than it's really convenient. I heard the new format can handle up to 10MB per second. YOu don't need a really powerful system for audio. I have a god PC that I use for both audio and video but I had no problems handeling just audio production on my 350MHz PII. Just be sure to get a decent hard drive.
