Home recording and general music post from the archived Yabb Recording Website Message Board. Some of the info here may be outdated but many of the audio recording and home studio tips are still good. Note: The only tags I made and attempt to convert are italics, bold, center and underline. So if you see some gibberish surrounded by brackets, just ignore it.

Hey people
I'm a new guy here and I was wondering how I could be a part of all the music events. I am a musician (guitar, bass, drums) I sing lead vocals and I record mix and master my own music (like I think alot of you also do). If someone could get back to me I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Audiovoid;D

Hiya Audiovoid...:) I think your doing exactly what you need to. We are currently working on SubT VII. Watch this "Discussion Board" for news on the next project (SubT VIII) and join the discussion. You might also wish to post a sample(s) of your work on the "Let us hear your stuff" board. Welcome aboard.:)

There's still time to get in on SubT VII. what's the plan for 7 is to put music to the lyrics written by John Hagius (Jt), the winner of the song contest sponsored by Dan Gray

Jump on in! Write some music to the lyrics for SubT7. Record it. Mix it. Send it. Presto, your on a Nationally (possibly internationally) released CD (even if it's only 15 copies or so). Please get involved!
