Welcome to the Recording Forums archive of audio recording posts from the old Recording Website Message Board

Home recording and general music post from the archived Yabb Recording Website Message Board. Some of the info here may be outdated but many of the audio recording and home studio tips are still good. Note: The only tags I made and attempt to convert are italics, bold, center and underline. So if you see some gibberish surrounded by brackets, just ignore it.

Great tunes man.
Im a songwriter myself. Home recording? Great potential. Good melodies. They drive the songs.  Contact me if you don't mind. I always love to exchange ideas with other great songwriters.  How did you get that second vocal track on the chorus to sound like that??? "Not far behind".  osnava@hotmail.com8)

Clay Men rocks. Add a little more testosterone and this one will rock arenas nation wide.

Hi there, took a surf..listening now..awesome, can't think of who it reminds me of right now..too late at night to think but you sound fantastic to me. Im pretty sick of hearing NYSNC and BSB..so many sound alikes etc..you're on the right track.

What did you use to record these songs? I like Clay Men, the arrangment with the instruments has a real John Sykes feel. My favs though are the acoustic/ballad styled songs especially Sandstone. The music sure fits the words and the words fit the music...great stuff!
