Subject: Cheep 12 channel mixers?
by Garak | 03/06/01 at 14:00:17
I'm looking to get a cheep 12 channel line mixer for recording live shows. I'm going to be taking the signal from either the insert or the direct out on each channel of the house board.
The Behringer Eurorack 2004a seems to be what I'm looking for and is in my buget range but I haven't been able to find one here in canada.
What I'm looking for:
-atleast 12 line inputs(1/4" high Z)
-4 output channels (l,r, montior1, montior2)(each has to have indepentant controls on each channel or pan's with mutes so I can put all the vocals on left, gutiars on right, bass on montior 1, drums on montior 2)
-Mic preamps on a few channels for basement recordings(like on the 2004a)
-CHEEP
-CHEEP
-under or around $300 USD (under $500 canadian)
If any one has a 2004a or something similar that they are selling let me know.

Mackie sounds better. Just listen to how the name sounds... "Behringer"... you just know it's gonna blow right there.
