See what type of beat sounds the best and determine if it's a country beat or a folk beat and let the machine decide for you. I've heard of people using those machines for that. I've never tried it myself though. The machines have the settings for "folk", "country", "rock", etc...and you could try singing it with each beat and see which sounds right.
