If you are willing to whore yourself as I have done, you can make alot of money playing what the masses are conditioned to listen to. We play the cheeseyest songs ever wrote, we dont overlook anything and we make lots of money up here in the sticks(northern B.C.). In town we get 1000.00 Can for a night. If we have to go for a drive it goes up considerably. We got 3000.00 last sept going to the Queencharlotte Islands. The reason I think we are sucessfull is that we look like we are really enjoying what we are doing. Every musician in our band is capable of sooooo much more but thats what they wanna hear. 1999 was the best year I ever had gigging but I made good money. Coffe houses and Sub T projects help ease the creativity thing.
