One of the problems I could see with a recording school is that it enables you to do what? Record...but if the market is slow, then what? Recording is a BUSINESS. Get a business degree, or something that will enable you to work nearly anywhere if the recording thing gets slow, or old, or your dream job in a dream studio ends up being recording Uncle Art's Polka Pioneers...
