To apply pressure is what they do here in the usa.
But pressure in not necessarily a "legal" or "non-legal"
thing. They do it because somewhere along the pipeline
are people working in conjuntion with the whole deal
that will support them in their bullshit. It usually
depends on what type of town you are in as to how mucyh
influence they have.
