best 24bit 96K sound card under $400

What's the best soundcard with 24 bit 96KHz convertors for about $400 or less? Stereo is all I need but extra channels are welcome. I've been looking at Darla but the specs say the frequency response is only 22KHz suggesting the convertors aren't true 96K samples rate. I'd really like the Aardvark DirectPro 24/96 but it's a bit too expensive. Any ideas?
