1. I have no problem combining the two boards.
2. I like having the archives around, although I dont personally used them much. I dont think we need to keep them forever. They just take up space but maybe keep one archive that goes back however long you are making the archives now. I know that I used them when I was a beginer, and so it would be nice to have at least one archive.
3. I dont know waht you mean about cleaning them up. Do you mean deleting anything that doesnt contribute directly to the question? I dont mind, although I can see where leaving everything in is a representation of our community. Good or bad. Of course, get rid of the insults and overuse of bad language.
4. I dont have a problem with adding the links to the other forums, but only if it doesnt clutter things up. I am all about making things idiot-proof but not at the expense of looking trashy.
