To use samples, you need to have something that can handle them. Multitrack software alone is not enough. You need a sampler, or a soundcard that can be used as a sampler (SB Live, Ensoniq APS etc.) Gigasampler is a PC based sampler, I've never used it myself. It sounds like you need more than what you have, unless that Roland keyboard can play back samples.
