Probably good old fashioned sandpaper. Take the neck off, & remove the tuning machines. If you sand by hand, it shouldn't bother the frets. Also, be careful sanding where the neck fits the body. Hand sanding tends to round over edges, and the neck may not fit tightly if you're not careful. You want to put it back together as soon as you can because there won't be any tension from the truss rod. Some people differ on this, but I wouldn't take any chances to find out. I definitely wouldn't use any strippers or chemicals.

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to do this?
