Depending on the quality of your current mic (I dont know anything about oktavas)I would almost say get the TLM. BUt I am assuming that oktavas are pretty good so keep the preamp and use the mic. THose are the two most important factors in getting a good sound. Then again, if your behringers pres sound like crap, then what good is it to put a great mic through it. I dont know much about behringers either. Silent bob is the expert here. BUt I would say get the preamp and use the octava with it.
