That's a tough question. You didn't mention what kind of AD/DA converters you'd be using instead of the DBX. This is a consideration. If it's SBLive or something equivelent than you might be better served keeping the DBX or putting the money towards a delta 10/10 or something like that. If you already have something with decent 24 bit converters, buy the Neuman. I know philosophies differ on this subject, but I am from the school that you're better off with a wide variety of mics. Buy the TLM103, and save for a nice preamp as your next big investment, but only if you're converters are decent to begin with.
