Feeling like an idiot : (

Am I an idiot or has this actually happend to someone else? I have hooked up to 3 different computers, from Line Out (Keyboard) to Line In (Computer)..sound comes through fine but I can't seem to get it to record. Anyone know what the problem is?? And a solution?? Any help would be a godsend. Thnx
