Signal noise from synth |
I have a Korg T1 synth and the signal strength is not high enough to go right into my board. The noise level coming from the line is too much when I try to run it through a Joe Meek pre-amp. I want to direct line it. Does anybody know if a line filter would be of any use? I hate to spend $200 for a piece of gear that does not fix this problem. This is the ONLY instrument and gear that has this problem. Are synth especially sensitive to electric current "noise"? The problem with a home studio is that between the refrig, the heater and what not there is almost always some other electric motor going.
