It depends. If your unit is not balanced by way
of transformers, there is a good (but not 100%)
chance you can
use it just by plugging it in (most NON transformer
balanced units have been made to work with balanced
or unbalanced 1/4 inch in/outs for quite a while.
If your unit is transformer balanced, you'll need
to connect the HOT to positive, and the neutral AND
low to negative (I hesitate to say what HOT, LOW, Neutral,
Negative, etc., mean exactly, because each
manufacturer has his own way of looking at things,
