Hi Wayne.

There are a number of sequencing softwares out there: Cubasis, N-track, Cool Edit Pro, etc. Some are even free.

Is there no soundcard in your pc? You could look into Turtle Beach, I used the Montego II before upgrading.
Everything is easy to use after a bit of a learning curve.
