Ok like everyone else I am in the market for a tube preamp that doesnt
cost an arm and a leg and sounds good.
The peaveys are suppose to be pretty good but cost alittle more than
I want to spend.
Now they have come out with a new single channel unit with out EQ
But the same tube compliment as the vmp-2.
Only problem is they say it only has 24 volt phantom power instead of the standard 48 for these days.
My question is do we need 48 for these mics or will 24 work or did
peavey just drop the ball on this one?
