Not quite as versatile as you are, but I usually prioritize what I want to be adept at. I've been playing drums since I was 3, but it leaves me pretty quick if I don't break out the sticks at least every other month. The advantage of the drums is that it's very physical. A lot like riding a bike. Once you've acquired the coordination, it doesn't take long to get it back. The timing might, at least with me. The acoustic guitar leaves me even quicker, but the stuff I play requires constant practice (open tunings, fingerstyle kinda stuff). The electric guitar comes back pretty quick. So I tend to practice the acoustic a lot more and since it's my main composing tool, I guess I kill 2 birds there. I usually bang on the drums a few times a week, but not for very long. Just long enough to sweat and piss off the neighbors. I think it's better to maintain a constant level, that way you can always lay down an acceptable track. Then practice and dial in where you need to in order to add the final touches.
