The Behringer MX802A has 8 channels in (4 mono + 2 stereo) and stereo out. My plan was to put 2 mics on drums and 1 mic on each of the 2 guitars.
Then pan drums hard left, guitars hard right, and feed to the 4-track as 2 separate inputs.
The 4-track will also be recording PA and Bass on separate tracks.Of course, I'm open to ideas here. I don't have much experience with mixers.
I'm just kinda winging it until I figure stuff out.My SM85 is a mystery since I can't find ANY specs on it. Has anyone used one before? It sounded decent in my limited testing but I haven't exposed it to live use yet. What's its forte?
