I play Schecter also, I have a C-7 in prototype pearl white and a T-7(version 2)in prototype trans blue. I also have two Schecter 6 strings,
a custom Schecter Sunset and a Scorpion. In my opinion, they are the best guitars for the money.
And those stock pickups are f&$*in' great! I play through a Dual Recto...I went through all the Marshalls, Rocktrons, Line 6...you name it, none compared to the Dual Rectifier. I won't buy anything but Boogie now...save your cash and get one...you'll never go back!
