I agree with Crippled Rich .. the BBE is too noisy for recording. I have a Behringer Ultrafex and am happy with that. The BBE unit, however, works superbly well on the FOH system for live work - "opening out" the sound, making it brighter, fuller, deeper, all at the same time, and in a live environment the residual noise goes unnoticed.
