I play through a Carvin 2x12 tube combo w/ pedals. I don't have any trouble with my rig for recording situations (low volumes)... I was going to use the BBE in my effects loop for live playing to tighten up the bottom end. The Carvin amp tends to get muddy at higher volumes. Yes, I play 7-strings! I have an Ibanez Universe and a Schecter A-7. Believe me, if I had a Mesa dual rectifier.. I wouldn't fool with a BBE. I have read some good reviews regarding BBE units on harmony central. I'll be sure to check out your band. Thanks for the link! Hopefully, by this summer... my new band will have a website up with MP3's.
