Many radio stations have sound effects libraries. If you know someone at a local station, you may ask if they can dub some clips off for you. Also, check your local library. This is just the type of recording they specialize in.
I've heard wolf recordings, really cool, and, of course, eerie, too. Do a search on some of the Alaska websites. You might do a search on "wolfsong" and see what it gets you. Wolfsong is an environmental group up in Alaska that's trying to save the wolf population from being wantonly killed off, guys with high powered rifles in helicopters and all...
