Hi there,
I'm currently a junior in highschool and I am interested in pursuing a career in the music business. I plan on going to college after graduation and I have been looking around for a school with a good recording program (audio technologies, music technology and the like). I hope to some day be a recording engineer. Are there any universities or colleges that offer good solid programs that I am looking for? Any help would be appreciated. Also, I am doing a project for school in which I must choose a job and budget my month according to what my job pays. I have been searching for information on what the average recording engineer might make in a year, but I haven't found much of anything. If anyone can give a good estimate, it would be appreciated.
