Monitoring MIDI & Audio??

My home studio currently consists of the following:
Korg X2 Keyboard
Fostex DMT 8(MTM)
Dell Computer(w/ Core 2 Digital Audio Interface and Cakewalk 9.0)

I use the Fostex as an input/output mixer. The keyboard(and mics
and guitars) are routed in through it. I can monitor the MIDI
output from the keyboard there, but when I try to monitor the
playback from the Core2 card(while recording another track), It
re-records the output tracks again, along with the new track I'm
recording. Is there a way I can monitor the keyboard's MIDI output and the computer's audio output at the same time, while
recording another track???? I get tired of switching the headphones back and forth!!
