Do y'all even READ the guy's post?

We're talking LIVE here people... no second chances. Can't go back and do it again.

In my circumstance it was a choir recording with people from all over the country on it. So what am I supposed to do, call them up and say "hey, I screwed up, get down here and we'll try again." I don't think so!!

In the original post he's referring to a live recording that he wants to save!

I've got a gig coming up repairing tracks (recorded elsewhere on ADAT) for a guy whose guitarist was seriously disabled in a car accident, and the guy wants THIS guitarist on his CD, so i'm using clipped dump tracks from long ago... i'm trying to convince the guy to forget about it but he won't. And I can't go to this guitarist and tell him "hey, you shouldn't have hit that tree becasue your dump tracks were clipped." I gotta fix 'em. Sometimes the luxury of "do over" isn't available.

Sorry, i'm a little hot under the collar today. I can't stand it when people focus on the cause after the fact instead of a solution for the problem at hand.
