Why dont you try going to your local rental house and renting a Digidesign 888 interface. it has a TDIF connection and I dont think you need extra software to allow it to interface with the computer, although I could be way wrong about that. I will check it out in class today and get back to you. But renting some form of interface from a rental house would be a good way to go.
