I just read the part you mentioned about how there are so many engineers out there that are really bad at what they do. Is this really true, and is it the norm, or the exception? I am going to be working my way up the studio ladder, and I personally feel I have what it takes to be a great engineer, as well as the fact that I give a crap about the products my name is attached to. I am personally in it for the love of recording audio and flow of creativity, and so I wanted to get your view on the industry. Thanks.
