Actually Digidesign gave away proTools 3.4 for free for a couple of years ago. The purpose of doing that was ofcourse to make people try that version and then go and buy version 4.0
I belive those CD's run out of order very quick, but you could mail them and ask if they have any copy 3.4 left.
