Thanks Slider for your info as regards syncing. I may need a guru with knowledge of my type of machine ie: Tascam /Teac 85/16 16 track on 1" tape recorder. The task at hand is to dump 16 previously recorded tracks from the Tascam into the Macintosh for editing. The problem is that I can only load 8 in at the one time. Hence, my question regarding the sync output on the tape machine. Perhaps it is possible to line it all up inside Digital Performer?? Any suggestions, I'm really an analogue head and a bit new to this computer editing stuff. Love the site you guys.
