I concur w/ the soak sentiment. I bought a Marshall pb-100 about 2 yrs ago. My best amp is a
'69 Fender Bassman 50 which sounds more like a marshall than any fender I've ever heard, and I've heard quite a few. A tube amp does justice to
the entire range of the instrument. Suprised that
it takes so long to burn out power tubes, but it
is a Fender and they are 6L6s. Your mileage may
vary.
