I just gotta get some stuff off my chest...I am a production manager (A/V). The setting is mostly industrial, educational.My department puts out some first rate quality stuff. The stuff then goes to a master control operator that has 50,000 dollar control equipment. POPs in the tape, with the settings from the last show, goes thru a transmitter system where the tech dosn't understand dynamics of video or audio, goes to the dub room where the ladies make a copie, of a copie, of a copie for dub masters to finish thier work by lunch. I come in the dub room and say "What the hell is that? We just finished that!
What did you do? Can't fire them, all I can do is bitch. I have my project studio and thank GOD that there's a great board like this one.
