I have korg n364 ,pc with config..500mhz,128mb ram ,20.1 gb hard disk
SBLIVE sound card and cake walk pro 8.0 audio software and some noise removing pluggins for cakewalk. I DON'T HAVE A MIXER!!!!!!
Do i really need a mixer for equilisation ? can't i do that using some softwares and pluggins? also sblive records only at a sample rate of 16 bit ,48khz . I heard that studio standards are of 20 to 24
bit formats with 50khz to 96 khz which are usually down sampled to
cd quality(16 bit,44khz).I recorded voice using a high sensitive mic
directly into the pc through the mic in of my sound card , but i don't
feel the recording quality of a studio. Please some one explain me
what else do i really need so that i can get a professional album
from my home equipment.
