We used 1 3/4" slab doors with sound locks, which are small rooms between the cr and studio. The thick slabs seem to work really well. The material inside the door was that chipboard stuff it is very heavy and dense. Another suggestion is a quality closer that keeps good pressure up against the stop. We used a pushplate, kickplate,
and pull. Glad your window turned out good.
