I'm amazed at your sound with your Sansamp G2. But I can't seem to get anything close with my Sansamp Original... direct or to my Roland. (also tried it live straight to the mixer.) The further up the neck, the more "transistor" it sounds. Do you use a comp in the path? Is the Peavey a tube poweramp? I'm using a Musicman Silhouette Special..HSS pickup config.
