Hi JR#97, I do recommend before you give up on the
Sansamp, try it through a power amp. That is
really the only way they sound right to me. Even
through a JC 120, they don't seem right. I use a
Peavey power amp (CS200) into a number of
different cabs, and it always works for me.
Also, if you have the one with dip switches, try
a Tubescreamer in front of it. BTW, I have a
V-Twin, I would be glad to sell to you.
