I have a 3000 also and I have not used it for a
over head yet but it also sounds harsh on vocals.
After recording a rock band this week decided to
try a Joe meek Jm 47 it should get here today or
tommarrow and will let you know what i think.
They are on sale for 200.00 and come with the elastic
shock mount and have a pad and a low cut switch.
They look alot like the marshalls And are made
in china also but are suppose to have differant
specs. We will see! Or should say Hear
